With MetroNet Go, you can access your HPBX phone services from anywhere. You can control when, how, and where callers will be able to reach you, even if you are on the road or unable to make it into the office.
Setting it up
Compatibility
MetroNet Go is compatible with:
- Android phones and tablets version 2.3.3 (Gingerbread) or later
- iPhone 4, 4S, or above running iOS5 or later
- iPad running iOS5 or later
- PCs with Windows 7 or later
- Macs with OSX 10.7 (Lion) or later
CommPortal login
To start, you will need your MetroNet 10-digit business phone number and password used when accessing your CommPortal. Please contact the DePauw IT HelpDesk at (765) 658-4294 or HelpDesk@depauw.edu for assistance if needed.
Downloading and installing
Mobile
You can download the MetroNet Go app:
- Go to the appropriate website for your device and search for MetroNet Go, or click on the appropriate link below:
- Install the app on your device (Note: You will be prompted to enter your iTunes or Google Play username and password during this process.)
Desktop
Download the necessary software for your desktop by going to mymetronet.net/commportal and clicking on the Downloads link at the bottom of the page. Click on the “View Apps” button, then the file When prompted, save the file, go to the folder you downloaded the app to, and open the file to begin the installation process.
