With 2-Step Verification, you will protect your DePauw Google Account with not only your password, but also with another device. 2-Step Verification is mandatory for your DePauw email account.

1. Browse to mail.depauw.edu
   1. Enter your full DePauw Google Account email address (e.g., username@depauw.edu), and then click Next
   2. Enter your DePauw Google Account email password, and then click Next
   3. Click Sign in
2. At the Welcome to your new account window, click I accept. Continue to my account
   
3. At the Please change your password window,
   1. Enter a New password
   2. Re-enter new password
   3. Click Change password
      
4. At the Welcome to Google Apps window, click Let’s get started!
   
5. At the Help us keep your account secure window,
   1. For Mobile phone, enter your 10-digit number
   2. Click Send verification code
      
6. Obtain the verification code from your mobile device
7. At the Provide your mobile number window,
   1. Enter your 10-digit Mobile Phone if it is not already entered
   2. For Enter code, enter the verification code that has been sent to your mobile device
   3. Click Verify
      
8. You have successfully set up 2-Step Verification
