Phones: Voicemail

The voicemail system is menu driven so you can listen to the voice prompts, and then press the keys on your phone to select the option you would like. You can also access your voicemail setting through the CommPortal, including forwarding messages as an email.

Setting up your voicemail

  1. Lift the handset
  2. Press the Messages key
  3. Listen to the system prompts to
    1. Change your 6-digit PIN
    2. Record your name
    3. Record your greeting

Accessing voicemail

When you have one or more unheard voice messages, your phone will display a flashing light above the LCD screen. To listen to your messages, you can either dial *98 or you can press the Messages key on your phone.

Using the voicemail system

Most commonly used mailbox commands

  • To listen to your voice message from the main menu, press 1
  • To listen to other messages from the main menu, press 1 → 1
  • To save a message, press 2
  • To delete a message, press 3
  • To change your mailbox settings from the main menu, press 4
  • To cancel the current operation, press *
  • To go back to the previous menu, press *
  • To finish entering digits or recording an announcement, press #
  • To forward voicemail, use your 10-digit phone number
