Dreamweaver: Defining a personal website on a Mac

  1. Connect to the W: or Web Drive by double-clicking the appropriate network alias

  2. Open Dreamweaver, click SiteManage Sites…

  3. In the Manage Sites window, click New…

  4. In the Site Setup for Unnamed Site 2 window
    1. For Site Name, enter a name for your site
    2. For Local Site Folder, select where you want to save your site by clicking Browse for folder
    3. Select Advanced SettingsLocal Info
      Link to Advanced, Local Info

      1. In the Site Setup for Personal Website window

        1. For Default Images folder, select where you want to save your images by clicking Browse for folder
        2. For Links relative to, select Document
        3. For Web URL, enter the URL for your site (Note: Faculty and Staff will be http://dpuadweb.depauw.edu/username_web and students use http://studentweb.depauw.edu/username_20XX_web.)
        4. Click Save

      2. In the Manage Sites window, click Done
