Printing: Installing PaperCut Client on a Mac

The PaperCut system allows you to print to more than one budget account. If you use more than one account for copying, you need to download the client before you can print.

  1. In the Finder menu, click Go Connect to Server…

  2. In the Connect to Server window
    1. For Server Address, enter smb://papercut.depauw.edu/public
    2. Click Connect

  3. At the You are attempting to connect to the server “papercut.depauw.edu” window, click Connect

  4. At the Enter your name and password for the server “papercut.depauw.edu”  window
    1. For Name, enter your DePauw Account (i.e., e-Services) username
    2. For Password, enter your DePauw Account (i.e., e-Services) password
    3. Click Connect

  5. At the public window, double-click client

  6.  At the client window, double-click mac

  7. At the mac window, double-click client-local-install.app

  8. If a “client-local-install” is not optimized for your mac window displays, click OK

  9. At the Install PCCLient into the Applications Folder” window, click Yes

  10. In the Login window
    1. For Username, Enter your DePauw Account (i.e., e-Services) username
    2. For Password, Enter your DePauw Account (i.e., e-Services
    3. Click OK

  11. Select the document you wish to print, and then click Print
  12. At Print Job Notification, click Charge to shared account, select the appropriate budget account by clicking the drop-down arrow, and then click Print
