DePauw ID Card: Uploading a photo

To upload a photo for your DePauw ID card, you will need to:

Understand the photo requirements

Your photo must be similar to a passport-style photo and follow similar requirements as those listed on the U.S. Passports & International Travel Passport Photo Requirements Web page. It should look similar to the following:

  • Color photo taken within last six (6) months
  • Plain white background only
  • Full-face view directly facing the camera
  • No senior pictures or posing allowed. This is not a glamour shot, it is a legal photo for identification purposes.

 

Warning:

Photos that do not meet passport-style requirements will be rejected.

Edit your photo

Now that you have a photo that meets the photo requirements, you will need to edit it so that it can be uploaded to our vendor’s system (i.e., GET). The photo you upload must be:

  • In JPEG (.jpg) format
  • No larger than 1 MB
  • Default viewable size of 225 X 150

Most cell phones have photo editing capabilities; however, other options available to you include GIMP, Google Photo, the Photo Tool found on the U.S. Passports & International Travel Passport Photo Requirements Web page, or numerous other free resources available through a Web search.

Create a GET account

GET is the system that enables you to upload a photo that may be used for your DePauw ID card if it meets the photo requirements as noted above. GET is also the system that you will use to manage your Tiger Express account, meal plan, locate participating out-in-town restaurants, and much more.

  1. Browse to https://get.cbord.com/depauw.edu
  2. Click Sign up now!

  3. Complete all of the fields that are displayed on the screen keeping in mind the following tips:
    • For Student ID, enter your 9-digit student ID number including the leading zeros
    • Enter your Birth Date using a MM/DD/YYYY format
    • Enter your DePauw Google Account (email) address that has been issued to you
    • Your password is case-sensitive and must meet the following requirements:
      • Passwords must be between 7-12 characters in length.
      • Passwords must contain at least one letter and one number.
      • Your new password cannot be one of your last four passwords.
  4. Click Register. At this point, a confirmation email containing the final step you need to complete for registration will be sent to your DePauw Google Account. It may take up to one (1) hour for you to receive this email. After you receive this email, it may take the GET system up to 24 hours to recognize your log in information.
  5. To complete your registration:
    1. Log in to your DePauw Google Account
    2. Open the email named GET – Registration Confirmation
    3. Click User Confirmation

Upload your photo to GET

At this point, it is time to upload the photo that you would like considered for your DePauw ID card. After you upload your photo, we will review it to determine its acceptability. This process may take us up to three (3) business days to complete.
  1. Browse to https://get.cbord.com/depauw
  2. Enter the username and password you created in the Create a GET account step, and then click Login
  3. In the Quick Links menu on the right side of the window, click Upload ID Photo
  4. Click Browse… (Note: If you have previously uploaded a photo, this button will be labeled Choose File.)
     
  5. Select the photo you want to upload
  6. Click Open (or Choose)
  7. Click Upload
     
  8. You will receive an email within three (3) business days that lets you know whether or not your photo met the guidelines and was accepted.
