Opening e-Services reports (.asp) in Excel: Windows

e-Services reports are saved as .asp files.  The first time  you download an e-Services report, you need to complete the following steps so Excel will recognize it.

  1. Click Start → Control Panel. (Note: For Windows 8, click Settings → Control Panel.)
  2. In the Control Panel window, click Default Programs.

  3. In the Default Programs window, select Associate a file type or protocol with a specific program.

  4. In the Associate a file type or protocol with a specific program window, select .aspChange program…

  5. In the Choose the program you want to use to open this file window, either
    1. Select
      1. Microsoft Excel and click OK.

      2. Click Browse…

    2. In the Open with … window, double-click  Microsoft Office07  Office14 → EXCEL.

  6. You can now open e-Services reports by double-clicking on them.
